SBMC Soccer for Girls

SBMC has always welcomed girls into our programs. Typical girls would play at the younger age groups on SBMC co-ed teams and later transfer to clubs with complete girls programs, such as Burnaby Girls Soccer Club.

With the diminishing all-girl clubs in Burnaby, SMBC has decided to venture into a more fulsome program for our female players.  We had a successful season with an all-girl U8 team in the 2022-23 season and girls' academy sessions on selected Friday nights.

For the coming year, we plan to form all-girls mini teams (U8, U9 and U10) where numbers permit! Also, we will be providing a summer program called "Prepare to Play" for our girl players going into the fall season.
