Players are not required to check in.
ID cards/player passes are not required; however, proof of age of a player may be requested at any time by the referee or another member of the tournament staff.

Players must have proper soccer footwear and shin guards.
All teams must carry a first aid kit, game ball and pinnies.
The home team is listed first and is responsible for supplying the game ball and changing jerseys or wearing pinnies (or alternate jerseys) if there is a colour clash.

If your referee is not at the field 5 minutes before the start of your game, please visit the closest field marshal tent and let us know.
The referee’s decision on the play shall be final.

Game schedules for each team will be emailed to the team officials 2 weeks in advance of the tournament.
No results (scores or standings) will be kept post tournament.
Participation Medal for all players at the end of Tournament play

We expect all participants, coaches, players, and spectators to display good sportsmanship and respect for all.
Any disruptive or unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in disqualification or ejection from the tournament.
The team officials are responsible for the behaviour of the team players and their supporters. Abuse of the game or tournament officials will not be tolerated.
All participants should know that Field Marshals have the authority and right to remove unruly or uncivil spectators from the game field perimeter and/or the field
complex area.
Any referee abuse will be reported to the appropriate district discipline committee.

5. Player Safety:

Injuries must be reported immediately to a tournament field marshal or other representative.
Players are required to wear appropriate safety gear, including shin guards.
The tournament staff, event operations staff, volunteers and South Burnaby Metro Club are not liable for any injuries sustained by any participant in the tournament, on or off the field.

6. Discipline:

[U11-U14] Any player receiving a red card in a match is subject to discipline as follows:
1. An automatic suspension of his/her next game
2. Potential further review/suspension by the discipline committee
The referee’s decision in matters concerning the Laws of the Game is considered final. The Tournament Officials will not overrule a referee’s decision.

7. Weather Policy:

Games will proceed in the rain but may be delayed or rescheduled in case of severe weather conditions (i.e., snow or thunderstorms).
Tournament organizers will make decisions regarding weather-related issues.
No refunds will be provided, and SBMC is not responsible for the team’s out-of-pocket expenses if the tournament is cancelled due to weather.
